Grant permissions to the service account in Google Play Console

Adapty reads your products and validates purchases as the service account. Until you invite that account into Google Play Console and grant it permissions, it has no access to your app’s data.

Before you start

Create the service account and have its email address ready. You need that address to send the invite.

Grant the permissions

1. Open Google Play Console and go to Users and permissions.

2. Click Invite new users.

   

3. In Email address, paste the service account’s email address.

4. Open the Account permissions tab. Permissions granted here apply to every app in your developer account, while the App permissions tab covers only the apps you select individually.

   

5. Select these four permissions:

   • View app information and download bulk reports (read-only)
   • View financial data, orders, and cancellation survey responses
   • Manage orders and subscriptions
   • Manage store presence

6. Click Invite user, then confirm with Send invite. The service account appears in the user list.
