Non-subscriptions
The Non-subscriptions chart counts in-app purchases that aren’t auto-renewing subscriptions: consumables, non-consumables, and non-renewing subscriptions. It excludes renewals.
“Non-subscriptions” is broader than “one-time purchases” — consumables and non-renewing subscriptions can each be purchased more than once.
Calculation
Each non-subscription in-app purchase falls into one of three types:
- Consumables: items users can purchase multiple times, such as fish food in a fishing app or extra in-game currency.
- Non-consumables: items users purchase once and use forever, such as a race track in a game app or an ad-free version.
- Non-renewing subscriptions: subscriptions that expire after a set period and don’t renew automatically, such as a one-year access to a content catalog. The content can be static, but the subscription doesn’t renew once it expires.
This chart counts only purchase events and does not subtract refunded purchases. If you have non-subscription products that are frequently refunded, the displayed count will be higher than the actual number of purchases that generated revenue.
