Renight is a sleep app built by Munice, a startup based in Seoul and San Francisco. The app uses patented Monaural Beats technology to improve sleep quality, supported by research from Yonsei University and from KRISS (Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science). By 2025, it had reached #1 in the App Store.

Scaling revenue was straightforward in theory, but the data to do it confidently wasn’t in one place.
Data they couldn't act on
In 2024, Renight was growing organically. Conversion rates were solid, and they’d found their audience. But monetization data lived across Amplitude, Apple, and Google. Pulling it together took around 5 hours each time, so the team reviewed numbers once a week. Between sessions, the data kept changing. The team made decisions on estimates.
Tracking active subscribers was the hardest part. When the team decided to scale, they chose Adapty before the campaigns ran, before the product lineup existed.
One dashboard the whole team runs on
Revenue, active subscriptions, refunds, and trial starts all sit on one dashboard. The product team checks it after every change. The marketing team tracks free trial numbers daily, their core KPI. Each month, leadership pulls Adapty data to update investors.

A campaign they could track
The team identified lapsed subscribers and built a win-back campaign for them. They created a discounted product in Adapty, added it to the paywall, and had it live within days. It ran for 7 days. New trials picked up right after. The team tracked it in the revenue chart.
Subscriptions that follow the user
Renight users come back every night, and not always from the same device. They switch from phone to tablet, share accounts with a partner, or log in with a different account on a new device. With Adapty, the subscription follows them wherever they go.
Paywall reach grew 28.5 pp without a release
The team used Adapty Placements to increase paywall coverage from 61% to 89.5% without a single app release. Through Adapty, they tested monthly, annual, student, and no-trial offers alongside different price points, trial lengths, and paywall designs. Engineering wasn’t in the loop.
Every experiment previously required a release cycle. Renight was growing too fast for that. The team now runs paywall experiments every week.
The results
782K installs, weekly paywall experiments, and a win-back campaign tracked in real time. All of it ran on the same dashboard.
The time Renight didn’t spend on dashboards went into the campaigns that drove 8.6x growth.
