Founder letter: 2020 review, pre-seed round and 500 Startups

2020 has been the most productive year of my life. Adapty has started for only little over a year ago with a team of two. During this time we managed to develop from zero to hundreds of users.
Today Adapty has:
- Analytics for mobile subscriptions.
- CRM for subscribers.
- A/B testing for paywalls.
- Promo campaigns (sending discounts over push notifications).
- Integration with analytics and attribution systems.
I want to say a thank you to the whole team and people who helped us throughout the year: Vlad Ya., Vlad G., Luda, Dima P., Dima V., Kirill, Artem K., Artem D., Max, Andrey. It is a great honor for me to work with you.
I want to say thank you to the investors who believed in us: AdFirst, Genesis, 500 Startups, and one angel. 500 Startups taught us a lot, and profile investors showed and told us the best practices in the industry.
And of course, I want to say thank you to early adopters, clients, and testers. It’s incredible how you agreed to make the product better together with us, that you decided to trust us and give it a try. We work very hard to make sure that you are confident in us and we solve your problems.
Not everything went as smoothly as we thought. We made a number of mistakes, unnecessary movements, and imperfections that could have been avoided. But any mistake is a huge experience that we have learned over this year.
We’ve found our focus and we have great plans in our roadmap for 2021.
