AI Studio generates video from text and images using third-party models such as Seedance, Kling, Wan and Sora. It also includes templates based on social media trends and AI Studio Director, an agentic tool that plans and assembles multi-shot videos.
The app launched in June 2025 and has 4.7 stars across roughly 5,000 ratings in Photo & Video on the App Store.

Kemal Cagin Sertkaya founded AI Studio and built the first version alone. It’s four people now. He still handles onboarding and paywalls himself.
Users subscribe, and they also buy credits, so the paywall shows up twice: once during onboarding and again when someone burns through their balance partway through a project.
What slows down a solo founder shipping paywalls?
Kemal started alone. Adapty went in almost from day zero, before there was a team, a designer, or anyone to hand paywall work to. It stayed that way through the first year of growth.
When one person owns the product, the ads, and the funnel, time is the only real constraint. Anything that takes a week doesn’t get done.
Paywall work is where that bites. Without a tool, testing a new paywall means building it, shipping it in an app update, and waiting on App Store review before a single user sees it. Two weeks to answer one question about a headline. Test three ideas that way and a quarter is gone.
Ship paywall changes without an app release
For the first year, Kemal built everything in the legacy Paywall Builder. One screen, pick a component, swap an image, and publish.
When the Flow & Paywall Builder came out, the Adapty growth team migrated all paywalls in under a week while his team updated the SDK and set up the new placements. His old paywalls kept selling the whole time, and he tested both builders in parallel before switching over.

Now he can build a paywall three ways, depending on what he’s making. Describe it to the AI Editor in chat. Hand it to an agent skill from his own terminal. Or design it in Figma and import it.
Whichever route he takes, the flow is served remotely, so he can change a price or rewrite a headline and have it in front of users the same afternoon. He scans a QR code to check it on his phone first, then publishes. Nobody ships an app update.
That’s a test running before lunch.
Personalized onboarding, matched to the ad
Someone who taps an ad about dance videos and someone who taps an ad about marketing content both land in AI Studio. Kemal doesn’t show them the same thing.

The onboarding structure stays the same, and the content inside it swaps out. Wedding keywords get couples and “Your love story, in AI.” Baby keywords get “The clip your family will love.”
Users who land on a personalized path convert to paid at 4.7%, against 2.2% for the default one. Roughly double, on the same traffic.
Flow Builder does this natively now. Audiences split traffic by attribution data, and each one gets its own flow from the same placement, so a keyword can decide which onboarding a user sees without a line of backend code. Adapty Ads Manager builds those segments straight from Apple Ads attribution.
Who do you ask when something breaks?
That matters more at four people than it would at fifty. There’s nobody to escalate to internally, so a slow answer is a stalled week.
What changed for AI Studio
Revenue grew 70% between February and August 2026. Installs grew 17% in the same six months, so the money came from what happens after someone opens the app.

Kemal changes a price in the morning, and users see it that afternoon. Onboarding still adapts to the ad that brought each user in, and the paywall is next.
AI Studio is hiring
All of this was built by a team of five. They are now hiring a Meta ads specialist to own paid social and work alongside the people who run the funnel.
If that sounds like you, take a look at the role.
From idea to live in 30 minutes
Kemal runs AI Studio’s funnel by himself, alongside everything else a founder handles. What made that workable was never having to wait on anyone to change a paywall.
