FunnelFox is a no-code platform that helps app developers grow revenue through web2app funnels. Launched two years ago, it’s already showing impressive growth. Marketers and product managers can build, launch, and optimize funnels in hours instead of months, all without writing a single line of code.
About the team
Billing team owns one of FunnelFox’s most strategic products. Billing is a core part of our payments ecosystem and a key driver of the company’s growth. The product has already reached product-market fit and is now entering the next stage: scaling the platform, expanding functionality, and building the best billing solution for the Web2App market.
Why we’re hiring
We’re looking for a Tech Lead to own Billing as a product, not just as a codebase.
You’ll combine technical leadership, product thinking, and business ownership to help shape the roadmap, make architecture decisions, improve reliability, and build features that directly impact customer value and company revenue. As the team grows, you’ll also help scale the engineering setup around the product.
What you’ll do
Own the technical execution and evolution of Billing.
Partner closely with Product and business stakeholders to shape solutions, priorities, and roadmap.
Drive architecture, scalability, reliability, and observability across the platform.
Build and ship features that improve customer value and business growth.
Lead incident investigation and continuously improve operational excellence.
Mentor engineers while remaining hands-on.
Help grow and scale the team as the product enters its next stage.
You’ll be a great fit if you have
7+ years of Python as your primary language, actively used now.
Solid experience with payment systems or billing infrastructure at scale (systems processing $50M+ per year).
PostgreSQL experience.
Docker and Kubernetes basics (you don’t own infra, but you need to understand how it works).
Hands-on experience with monitoring, alerting, observability.
Ability to handle both feature development and operational complexity.
Product and business orientation: you think about revenue impact, not just code correctness.
Autonomous working style.
