FunnelFox is a no-code platform that helps app developers grow revenue through web2app funnels. Launched two years ago as Adapty’s new project, it’s already showing impressive growth. Marketers and product managers can build, launch, and optimize funnels in hours instead of months, all without writing a single line of code.

We are building a proper analytics foundation with our own warehouse, dbt, and Airflow. The platform side is taking shape, but we also need a strong analyst who can help turn messy source data into trusted business logic, clear marts, and usable dashboards.

This is not a narrow reporting role. It is also not a pure product analytics role, and not an analytics engineer role in disguise. It sits in between.

You’ll mainly work on the business layer in dbt, building marts and models that support real use cases. While you won’t own ingestion or raw pipelines end-to-end, you’ll feel comfortable exploring source systems, understanding what data is needed, spotting gaps, and collaborating with data engineers to shape upstream models for reliable analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Define and refine metric logic. Help establish how important metrics should be calculated, documented, validated, and changed safely over time
  • Support both internal and product-facing analytics use cases. Work on problems across CS, Product, Marketing, and Finance, including logic that affects what customers see
  • Validate numbers before they reach stakeholders or clients. Reconcile outputs against source systems, current dashboards, and known business expectations
  • Work with messy source data and bring structure to it. Investigate API payloads, source tables, and current reporting logic to understand what data is useful, what is noise, and what is missing
  • Build and improve business-facing marts. Own analytical logic for the datasets that power reporting, dashboards, and decision-making
  • Shape upstream requirements for engineering. When the lower layers are not modeled well enough, define what the data engineer should build so the business layer becomes reliable and easy to use
  • Reduce logic duplication and dashboard drift. Push teams toward reusable datasets, clearer ownership, and fewer hidden calculations inside dashboards
  • Document assumptions, limitations, and logic. Make it easier for others to understand where numbers come from and what they can be used for
  • Partner closely with the Analytics Lead and data engineer. Help build not just dashboards, but a system where correct analytics becomes easier to produce over time

About you

  • Strong ownership of analytical problems. You do not wait for perfect tickets. You take a vague business question, clarify what really matters, and drive it to a trusted result
  • Good metric sense. You can define metrics, compare methodologies, explain differences, and protect teams from misleading numbers
  • Strong collaboration skills. You can work with analysts, engineers, product managers, CS, marketing, and finance without losing precision
  • Experience across product, business, or revenue analytics. You can work with product usage, funnel behavior, reporting logic, operational metrics, or financial metrics without getting lost in one narrow track
  • Ability to work across B2B and B2C logic. Our product serves B2B customers, but part of the value is correct analytics about end-user or lead behavior inside funnels
  • Care about trust in data. You validate outputs, document assumptions, and do not treat “close enough” as good enough
  • Strong SQL and analytical thinking. You can explore messy data, validate metric logic, spot edge cases, and build datasets that hold up under scrutiny
  • Comfort with dbt or a close equivalent. You understand modular modeling, marts, dependencies, naming, and how to keep business logic maintainable
  • Ability to translate source complexity into engineering requirements. When raw data or upstream models are not good enough, you can specify what needs to change and why

Nice to have

  • Experience in B2B SaaS

  • Experience with client-facing or externally visible reporting

  • Experience with billing, payments, subscriptions, invoices, refunds, or reconciliation logic

  • Experience with product analytics and behavioral data

  • Experience with systems thinking or data systems design

  • Ability to understand incoming API data structures and make good decisions about what should be modeled, kept, ignored, or pushed upstream

  • Experience working closely with data engineers on warehouse design

  • ClickHouse experience

What’s in it for you

  • Join a growing product with huge potential. We’re building something big, and you’ll have a key role in that journey.
  • Strong product with industry-best metrics. FunnelFox is among the top 5% fastest-growing SaaS companies.
  • Career growth. Own critical areas, build a team and grow with us.
  • Direct communication and ownership. No bureaucracy, no politics – just impact.
  • Flexible remote work. Join us from anywhere, and deliver impressive results. We work as individual contractors (PTO, public holidays, and sick leave included).
  • Benefits. English lessons, sports reimbursements, laptop coverage, and more.
